Test, Measurement, & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)

Army Regulation 750-43, Test, Measurement, & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), and AR 40-61, Medical Logistics Policies, define and identify both, responsibilities and requirements, for acquisition of TMDE.

All TMDE used to support medical equipment and facilities maintenance is reviewed and evaluated by the TMDE Program Manager, AMEDD National Maintenance Program (NMP), United States Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA).

With input from the AMEDD National Maintenance Program TMDE Manager, the PM TMDE approves MEDCOM Medical Treatment Facilities’ request for TMDE procurement. This TMDE requisition process is automated through the US Army TMDE Activity (USATA) website at (https://tmde-register.us.army.mil    )
